Spooky Movie Night: Goosebumps
Macon-Bibb County Recreation hosts a free movie night in the park, now showing Goosebumps. Blankets and chairs are welcome.
Concessions will be sold onsite by Cloud Berry Chill: popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones.

Supper & Pumpkin Party at Centenary
Centenary Community Ministries and Centenary Church host a Pumpkin Party after Wednesday Night Supper. Carve a jack-o’-lantern or paint a mini pumpkin; other supplies are provided.
Supper is $5 a person ($20 max per family) and jack-o’-lantern pumpkins are $8. RSVP and reserve a pumpkin online.

Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful and Shred Monster are celebrating America Recycles Day with a free paper shredding event. Free and open to the public.
Bring old bank statements, credit card offers, tax documents, medical records and other confidential papers.

Annual Lighting of the Star at Centenary
Centenary United Methodist Church’s annual Lighting of the Star, with sandwiches, chips and hot chocolate along with a brief service of scripture and song.
Weather permitting, everyone gathers in the street in front of the church, so bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather.

Burdell-Hunt Magnet Elementary School is looking for caring, committed men to mentor 3rd, 4th and 5th grade scholars in its B.R.U.H. (Being Resilient, Unique, Helpful) Mentorship Initiative, with Community Schools United and United Way of Central Georgia.
Mentors encourage, support, guide and inspire the next generation of leaders.
